Hi, I’m Jonathan!
I'm a documentary filmmaker & wedding videographer out of Portland, Oregon who creates nostalgic & heartfelt wedding films. I love documenting life as it is a treasure to look back on when life comes and goes.
My roots are in commercial & documentary work, but I believe if God has given me the power of storytelling then I hope to bless the couples I work with throughout the year.
The wedding films we create go beyond the wedding, and invites viewers into the couple’s story. These wedding films are for: The Real. The Authentic. The couples who yearn for their story to be told & shared to the newly befriended, the near and dear, and all the generations in the in-between. Story is king & you are the narrative of your film.
Jonathan was such an honor to work with in every aspect! We were first drawn to his artwork, imagery, use of color and technical mastery of videography, but what really hit home for us was his incredible storytelling ability, his intentionality, kindness and empathy in everything he does in his craft. From day one of hanging out and sharing our story, to our pre-wedding shoot, to the day of our wedding and everything in between - Jonathan made us feel comfortable, true to our story and through it all he has become a friend and inspiration. We absolutely love our wedding video and tear up every time we see it. The scenes he was able to capture are priceless and hiring him was the best decision ever!!!
